Cookies and statistics: this site uses no profiling cookies, so no consent banner is required. Visits are counted with Google Analytics 4 running in "consent denied" mode (Consent Mode v2): in that mode no analytics or advertising cookies are set, IP addresses are anonymised, and the resulting data is aggregated and cannot identify you. Nothing is used for personalised advertising.
Purpose and legal basis: to answer your enquiries, handle booking requests and send the guide you asked for (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, art. 6.1.b GDPR). Your data is not used for newsletters or marketing without separate consent.
Retention: requests sent through the site are kept in the site archive and in the controller's mailbox for as long as needed to handle them, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless the law requires otherwise (for example tax records). After that period the site archive deletes them automatically.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR (Reg. EU 2016/679), by writing to info@italypointofview.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Technical services and processors: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, CDN and request archive); form notifications are delivered by Resend, Inc. (transactional email); visit statistics use Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4, cookieless mode). All of them process data on behalf of the controller as data processors. Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. on their own systems: card details never pass through this site.
The service you can book from this site is the introductory call: a video call of the length stated at checkout, followed by a written recap. The content of each service, the payment terms and the rescheduling or refund conditions are stated clearly before purchase. Services that follow the call are governed by tailored quotes accepted in writing.
